Clearly illustrated, with supporting open-source software

Disclaimer: I've scanned this book but didn't read it thoroughly (yet). My impressions so far have been very positive. The book is clearly laid out and extensively illustrated. An added (and big) advantage is that it references a freely available Python library (pyradi) that was developed by the author and specifically supports the content in this book. All in all: a very valuable resource.
